The Nature of Politics, in a line itemized summary

They overthrew the monarchs and replaced them with politicians who brought
us worse wars.  Those politicians also brought us chattel slavery, John Calhoun,
the Trail of Tears, the Know Nothing Party, Teapot Dome, and Tammany Hall,
followed by politicians bribed by Al Capone.  Then came Stalin, HItler, Mao,
and a roll call of other deadly dictators.  Add the Lockheed Bribery Scandal,
the disarray of Boeing, the many Biden LLCs, foreign sweatshop labor and
the accompanying trade balance deficit, water supplies drowning in endocrine
disruptor chemicals, the converting of the American legal system into one
contiguous kangaroo court system, and the disintergretion of society.

The lesson is that you can implement the best form of governmentbut if you have unconscionable manipulators running it, then you have an evil government.  It's the people in government which counts; not the form of government.  Evil governors = Evil government.

1a] Politics is a tug of war where manipulation and
compromise hold opposite ends of the same rope.

2] The common man possesses something known as common sense.  This means
that he should be granted easy access to common law courts, as well as class-
ical chancellery offices without the exorbitantly high attorney fees of this era.
In fact, the America Organization of States' 1948 Universal Declaration of Hu-
man Rights needs to be enforced.

3a] Where there is the presence of organized crime, there
are police officers and government officials on the take.

3b] The system of local police breeds corruption and abuse.  Their arrogance comes
from believing that they have immunity.  Firstly, it's known as qualified immun-
ity, and no such immunity exists in the presence of malice.

4] Deregulation is lawlessness and lawlessness is anarchy.  Republicans are no-
thing more than self-seeking anarchists, being that they are obsessed with de-
regulation.  Democrats are far successful at being cold-blooded killers than a
pack of wolves.   You can land 12 Americans on the moon, but you can't pro-
duce a descent political party in America.  This would only be because poli-
tics, per se, is intrinsically evil.  The constant warring between two political
parties robs a nation of its peace.  One side in politics does, and then the
other side immediately seeks to undo.

5] Campaign mud slinging is White Trash Politics.  Other races have done it, too.

6a]  If the French are such gutless cowards who instantaneously surrender to an
invading army, then how do you explain: 1] Charles Martel, 2] Charlemagne,
3] the Norman Conquest, 4] the French victory over the Vikings during the
Siege of Paris,  5] Saint Joan of Arc,  6] Simon of Montfort,  7] Simon V of
Montfort,  8] King Louis XIV,  9] Napoleon's army,  10] the French Empire,
11] the Comte de Rochambeau,  12] the Marquis de Lafayette,  13] the Battle
of the Somme,  14] the Battle of the Marne,  15] the French Underground,
16] the French Exocet Missile?   Remember that France was the third high-
est military spender in the Year 2010.

7b] When referring to the French as cowardly sissies, keep in mind that some of
the northwestern French are the descendants of Danish Vikings.  As a gener-
al rule, French towns ending in "x" were once Viking settlements.  It's foolish
to call Viking descendants a bunch sissies.

7c]  The animosity between the French and British was explained to me by a na-
tive of England in the following way: "The French look down on everyone,
and the English don't like being looked down upon."

8] Donating to a political campaign is no different than bribing a politician,
when the candidate knows that you made the donation.

9] The most asinine campaign maneuver is that of a candidate giving voters a card
which states only the candidate's name, without mention of the candidate's pol-
itical stance, telling the voter to vote for the candidate.  This leaves a voter en-
tirely clueless as to the politician's stance on the issues.  When you say, "Vote
for Joe American Shmoe," you have to give cause why people should vote
       for him.

10a]  A person who states that monarchy is intrinsically evil is a paranoid in-breeder
at heart.  He doesn't believe that God has the power to make anyone good.

10b]  This paranoiac inbreeding mentality includes persons who have stated that the
papacy is intrinsically evil.  Such defamatory people include the preachers who
see themselves in competition for tax-free collection basket money.  This speak-
ing ill of the Catholic Church becomes a business venture, in the quest to get as
many Catholics as possible to leave the Catholic Church and put money into the
preachers' tax-free collection baskets.  Yee haw there, Reverend Jim Bob.

10c]  Popes come and go.  Some were holy.  Some were heart touching.  Some were
negligent.  Some caused the Catholic world grief.  No individual pope defines
the papacy of the past 2,000 years.

11]   If America remained a colony of England, slavery
would have been made illegal decades prior, in 1834.

12]   Why exchange one tyrant located 3,000 miles away for 3,000 tyrants located
one mile away?  Republics, as opposed to merely Republicans, have provid-
ed humanity with unconscionable politicians such as George "WMD" Bush,
Dick "the Waterboarder" Cheney, Richard "Watergate" Nixon, Mitt "Factory
Gate Padlock" Romney, John "Shackle them" Calhoun, NAFTA Newt Gingrich,
Jefferson "Confederacy" Davis, George Segregation Wallace, those on the pay-
roll of Al "Buy a Judge"Capone, Ronald "Triple the National Debt" Reagan,
and Joe "there's a commy under your bed" McCarthy.   Add to this Jim Crow
        laws, the klan, Teapot Dome,
Gerrymandering, the Wickersham Commission, Tammany Hall, the Lockheed
Bribery Scandals, The Knapp Commission, MK-Ultra, and much more.

In fact, George Washington proved his dictatorial prowess in the Whiskey Re-
bellion that never was, along with him having his own soldiers shot to death at
various firing squads.  In addition, the American South became a chattel slave
dictatorship, despite it claiming itself to be the Land of Liberty.  This was ac-
companied by a slave owner saying, "Give me liberty or give mes, death."  To
him, liberty was the ability to keep people enslaved.  Patrick Henry, hypocrite
        extraordinaire, was a slave owner.

The lesson learned from the many American outrages throughout the centuries
is that it isn't the form of government that matters.  It's the type of people in
government that does. The kings were overthrown and replaced with multiple
tyrants.  Thus, effacing monarchy cured nothing.  What is required in govern-
ment is that it be run by persons with consciences.  Today, an honest politician
        is an oxymoron.

13]  The Duke of Wellington was not named Wellington.  He was Arthur Wellesley.
In fact, he was the prime minister of England when slavery was made illegal
and Catholicism was once again made legal for the first time in 1834.

14] Abraham Lincoln's fatal error was that of not prosecuting Jefferson Davis.  If he
would have hung Davis from the gallows, he would not have been assassinated.
No one would have had the audacity to have even tried.

15] Mao Tse Tung's writings have ZERO social value.

16] Prince Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli was a borish windbag.

17] An activist Republican is someone who doesn't want to pay his workers and who
doesn't want to pay his taxes, all the while whining and complaining as a martyr
if he doesn't own all the money in the world.

18]  An activist Democrat is someone who wants to have sex, drugs, and rock & roll,
as well as an abortion after having messed up having sex, drugs, and rock & roll.

19] A non-activist Republican is either someone who thinks that the Republican party
platform was brought down from Mount Sinai by Moses or someone who would
like to belong to a country club without partaking in right wing fanaticism.  They
      are two types of people.

20]  A non-activist Democrat is someone who doesn't want to have to live out of trash
       dumpsters.

21]  The Eternal God does not recognize State's Rights; only human rights.  Instead,
God follows the rule of a leader's accountability.  It's based on the premise that
the more given to you results in the more being expected from you.  At this point
in time, Remember Nuremberg, because history repeats itself.  In fact, always re-
member Nuremberg.  Today's politicians obviously do not do so.  In fact, send
them a history book about the French Revolution and the European revolutions
of 1848 as soon as you can.  If they don't learn from history, they will be repeat-
ing it very soon.  Qaddafi already did.

September 20, 2024

France had an empire and still exists. There is no more Confederacy.

In re:  The conservative right wing's hatred toward the French.
Gettysburg was the beginning of the South going down on its knees.
During the government shut down of 2013, a Republican politician, in the spirit that preceded the burning of Atlanta, spoke of his resolve in this way: "We're not French.  We don't surrender."  He surrendered.

France won numerous battles and wars.  Even during  WWII, there was the Free French Force and victories ... mostly with the allies ... but a couple of times alone.  Southerners surrendered during
the first American Civil War, to the tune of 462,634 troops, twice the number as Union troops.  It's Southerners who are the cowards, hiding behind their guns.

All in all,  Americans do NOT appreciate the aggressive operatives in our country trashing our European allies.  In as much, I would like to take the opportunity to apologize to the French, on behalf of Americans, for the insults hurled at you from those who live between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans also, but who have zero sense of civility.  I am so sorry that they repeatedly did that to you.  My dad had the kindest regards for you, and he was a decorated Air Force combat vet who witnessed fellow airmen literally go up in flames or hurl down toward the earth in a black trail of smoke..

The United States Needs France.
It Does NOT Need the Oppressive South.

For the record, I lived in the South for the vast majority of ten years, heading back to the North for a few Spring/Summer months.  I even then returned to the former Confederate South for a while, to the Shenandoah Valley.  Thus, I have experience with the Southern mindset, up close and personally.  Thank God for the North and West.

I can assure that we can do well without North and South Carolina.  But, we can't do will without France or England.  Add the Netherlands and Belgium, too.   In fact, I would love to see America substantiate an alliance with the Ukraine.  In as much, if you're an American vehemently against the idea of having foreign allies. then I can assure you that you're an inbreeder at heart.

All in all, the South has always been detrimental to the United States.   The South has been a total pain.  If it  were to secede from the Union, it would be doing America a favor.  Northerners would be spared of a lot of tax dollars draining into the good ole boy South.

Let us begin:

In the proud, stubborn, and very short-lived Confederacy,  the national pastimes came to be:  1} primitive surgery,  2} surrendering,  3} watching its cities burn; literally.  NO joke.  No sarcastic statement.  The South was completely conquered and completely at the mercy of the North.  They still are.  The Northern states are the taxpayer states.  The Southern states are the tax-taker states.  The South has been leeching off of the North, and then the Sean Hannitys of this world get
the rural dwellers to believe the exact opposite of the statistical truth.

In contrast, the France whom the typical neo-confederate mocks, still had free forces throughout WWII, along with an effective underground network.  In fact, during the Battle of France, in 1940, the allies inflicted heavy casualties upon the Germans.  The Germans did NOT stroll into Paris.

The historian tally for Nazi German casualties during the Battle of France (1940) was  27,074 KILLED and 111,037 wounded.  Thus, the French weren't the pansies that the White Trash and ornery right wingers of America made them out to be.

During the Battle of France, the German Luftwaffe lost 1,129 aircraft in combat, according to the official stats.  So, it is a fatal error to think of the French as push-overs.  I would fight next to a Frenchman in a heartbeat.  I'm never willing to fight next to any Southerner who is not from Louisiana or Texas or the northern half of Mississippi.  Period.  As far as goes the eastern part of the American South, no dice.
Spare me.

Even during the Battle for the Hague, in the Netherlands, the Germans lost half of its 8,000 paratroopers to death and prisoner-of-war status.  In their capturing of Holland, Belgium, and France, the Germans lost more troops and aircraft than assumed by those who never looked at a history report on the subject.

One more thing:  The French almost won the Battle of Waterloo.  The Prussians showed-up at 4 in the afternoon.  That was when the French split their forces into two parts and weakened.  The stereotypical American Southerner is simply jealous and tells lies.  There is nothing American about Southerners.  To be American is to give people the chance to talk things out and figure out what's going-on.

Unlike the sum total of Confederate forces, the French Free Forces NEVER surrendered.  If this were not true, then Charles de Gaulle would have never become a household name in the decades to follow.  In the darkest hours that France was enduring, De Gaulle remained poised at recapturing Paris.  Thus, the Southerners of today have the untold ... and bratty ... audacity to mock the French, after all of the surrendering the South did.  Proof that Southerners have a history of cowardice exists in the white hoods that cover their faces during cross burnings.

Incidentally, the Nazis broke international law, in order to takeover Paris.  They went  through Belgian territory, and the French didn't think that the Germans would do so.  In as much, the Germans had to CHEAT, in order to beat the French.

The French Underground who never surrendered to the Nazis inflicted strategic damage upon the Nazi infrastructure, while keeping the Jedburgh airbase (in Ain) perfectly in tact.  Simultaneously, the French underground delivered to the allied command a lot of needed information, thereby saving thousands of allied lives.  This included the details of the Atlantic Wall.

Plus, the French rescued a lot of downed U.S. airmen.  The French rescued these airmen at their own peril, and is this the thanks that the  France get from America?  Only the Southern trash we find throughout the congressional seats of government would be so ungrateful.  Without the French underground, there would have never been the concise information direly needed by the 8th Army Air Force who ended up destroying Nazi Germany's war-making capacity.

The Confederates had raiders during the American Civil War, but they never came close to the operational effectiveness of the French underground in Nazi territory.  Moreover, the French had their nation returned to them in complete victory.  The South suffered a 100% loss, including the loss of cities by means of fires started and finished by Northerners who became tired of the games Southerners were
playing.

In Light of the Oppressiveness of the Southern Mindset

I can assure you that a Rand Paul presidency or a TEA Party congress will result in far worse upheaval than that which was witnessed in 1968/69.  Southerners are very oppressive.  That is their history.

By the way,  Texans will be scheming to get the price of gasoline to rise to previously crippling levels.  That is when the North will blow a gasket, because the South has been leeching off the North and its higher population, all along.

Let us review:  There is STILL a landmass called France.  There is NO landmass called the Confederacy in any form of power, at all.  There are just cross burners in the woods.  In the end, the French were victorious in WWII.  They won back their nation and prevented many 8th Army Air Force debacles.  This White Trash Talk of the South must end.  They have been doing this since the end of the Civil
War.

So, here is the situation:  The South suffered complete defeat, while hundreds of thousands of Southerners surrendered to Northerners.  Yet, the redneck congressmen had the audacity to mock the French who kept fighting at the Somme, the Marne, during the Siege of Parish, during the Norman conquest of the English, and at many other venues marked by French victories.  All in all, I would be willing to have American forces fight along side a Dutchman, a Frenchman, or an Italian before any unit of Southerners, being that the aforementioned Europeans would be much more adaptable on a battlefield, with a Plan B & Plan C ready to be employed.
______________________________________________________________

If the French are a nation of surrendering sissies,
then how do you explain the following?

1} Napoleon's army.   2} the Parisians who defeated the Danish Vikings during the Siege of Paris.   3}  Charles Martel,  4} Charlemagne,  5} William the Conquerer's French army,  6} Simon of Montfort,  7} Simon V of Montfort,  8}  Joan of Arc's army,  9} Gilbert du Moitier (also known as the Marquis of La Fayette),  10} the General Rochambeau who rescued George Washington from his military incompetence, 11} the French Underground,  12}  those Frenchmen who fought in the Battle of the Somme, as well as 13} the Battle of the Marne,  14} the French marine units who went over the Iraqi fire trenches during the First Gulf War, 15} the French Revolution, 16} the vast French Empire.

A lot of pampered Americans spoke as if they could easily take-on and subdue the French with a bag of Doritos in their hands, while listening to the rotund chicken hawk, drug addict, and college fail-out, Rush "the Viagra Smuggler" Limbaugh ... and doing so without breaking stride.  Firstly, America is the second fattest nation on earth, and Limbaugh is one of the pioneers in American obesity.  Secondly, on a per capita basis, the French have been taking home more Olympic medals than the Americans.  This is also the case with Australia and Hungary, as it applies to the Summer Olympics only.

Furthermore, a Special Forces American told me in Florida that the French special forces troops are the ones who are the most knowledgeable in war technology, while on the field.  Now, he said that the Italian special forces personnel are the acrobats of the Western allies, but it's the French who can improvise on the battle field, as if to be college professors.

In conclusion, you can call the French rude, but you can't call them a bunch of sissies.  Of course, the French enigma came from France losing to Hitler.  Well, jn order for the Nazis to conquer France, it had to bypass the massive Maginot Line, and break international law by invading France through neutral Belgium.

During the battle for Paris, 15% of the French  army was out of the equation manning the Maginot Line that the Nazis avoided, because they knew they couldn't beat the French in any one on one match.  The Nazis KNEW that they were no match for the French, in a head-to-head conflagration.  The French would have mangled their armored units.

Southern man, according to his own history, only understands low wages, good ole boy cronyism, crying wolf, using religion to deceive the people, lying about other people, lying about other nations, gerrymandering, complaining about environmental law, cross burning, lynch mobbing, despising the UN, and cursing international law.  Such is the mindset of an isolationist inbreeder.  Southerners do NOT deserve to be called Americans.   They would dismantle the United
States and reestablish the Confederacy instantly, if they had a chance to do so.

Do not be deceived by their obsessive flag waving.  They would replace the Stars and Stripes with the Johnny Reb flag in one mere heartbeat ... from my personal observations ... in my opinion.

France:  A Imperial Power ... Unlike the Confederate South

A nation of sissies doesn't amass an empire reaching from Southeast Asia to Northern Africa to Central Africa to North America and the northern tip of South America.  Yes, even from the Three Rivers region of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to as far South as New Orleans, was French imperial territory.

The British Empire which was at its height shortly after World War I lost much of its influence.  In a dominoes effect, long after having lost America, it lost its jewel.  Its jewel was India.  Then, the United Kingdom lost its Opium War prize, Hong Kong, along with Burma (aka Myanmar), Ceylon, most of Ireland, Ghana, the Gold Coast, Kenya, Zanzibar, rainless Botswana, Gambia, Lesotho, Bahrain, Qatar, Tonga, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Belize, and other nations which have a right to independence.  Simply because the United Kingdom downsized itself, it does not make the English sissies.  The same goes for the French Empire.  Southerners always have to belittle someone, in order to make themselves feel great.

So, why would Americans think that the American Empire is immortal, especially now that it has been sabotaged by Reaganomics and the ensuring of long-term Trade Balance Deficit, as well as Johnny Reb politicians who did shutdown the federal government, in the Spirit of attacking Fort Sumter?

Any new West Hemisphere empire ... any replacement American empire in the near future, will either be that of Brazil or a new political entity in the landmass now recognized as the United States ... but such a land will have to weed out the backward, neo-confederate, self-seeking, good ole boy operatives.

It was the Johnny Reb and the Jerry Falwell Fundamentalist who shutdown our federal government.  They then blamed it on Obama, as if we in the north are so stupid as to believe them.  Well, they're the ones with the embarrassing low SAT scores and every other type of test score.  In fact, high tech companies refused to relocate to South Carolina, because, according to the assessments, the state which started the first civil war didn't have people in the 21st Century intelligent enough to perform the high tech work.

The Ted Cruz Irony

Ted Cruz was hailed as the great prophet of the TEAS, and therefore, the great prophet of the Southern mindset.  What is wrong with this picture?  ANS:  Cruz prided himself on graduating from an Ivy league school ... a Yankee school ... a northern school.  Well, if the South is so superior, then Cruz must be regarded persona non gratis, for his Yankee influence.

The other irony of the South is that former Georgia congressman Newt Gingrich was a native of Harrisburg Pennsylvania.  That's near the Gettysburg which was the beginning of the end for the Johnny Rebs.

Southern politicians need to quit insulting our intelligences up here ... up here in the land of MIT, the Ivy League, the Big Ten, Lehigh, Pitt, Notre Dame, Case Western Reserve, the Cleveland Clinic, the Mayo Clinic, Mt. Sinai Med Center, the Seven Sister Colleges, Chicago Univ, Carnegie-Mellon, Williams College, Amherst, Swarthmore, Haverford, Middlebury, Colgate, Bowdoin, etc.  They also need to do something about the ridiculously high cost of a college education and end the college loan trap.

The Reagan Presidency = Deficit Spending Every Year.

I was having a conversation with the executive of a very well known corporation
whose commercials are on TV and whose products are probably in your home.
This individual has an MBA, and we've conversed on a regular basis, whenever
she would fly-in from Chicago.  This is because she is one of the officers of the
moderate-sized construction corporation for whom I work.

Yours truly:  This is where I had the conversation with the
corporate vice president of a very well known corporation.
Incidentally, construction trailer offices can look very "lived in."
Well, shortly after New Year's Day 2015, she flew in from Chicago as she often
does, and we got to talking.  She suddenly said that the Reagan presidency had
budget surpluses.  I then explained to her about Reagan tripling the national debt
and other economic misfortunes that happened under Reagan's watch.  We then
changed the subject.

Anyway, I realized that the lies of the Republican Party are still being reiterat-
ed throughout corporate America and even corporate executives are believing
the lies in good faith.  Therefore, it's time to once again ring out the statistical
truths of the Reagan Years which were an encompassing act of sabotage upon
the United States economy, except where the inflation rate was involved.  We
will re-begin with the fact that 100% of the Reagan Presidential Years were
marked with record DEFICIT SPENDING.

Here is where I had the enlightening conversation
with the Chicago-based corporate exec.

We will adjourn to a work of gentlemen from the University of California at
Santa Barbara.  Their names are Gerhard Peters and John T. Woolley.  They
are the compilers of the American Presidency Project and their statistical
outlay of surplus/deficit spending per president can be found at:

http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/data/budget.php

Out of respect for copyright law and ethics, I only copied and pasted the stats on
Ronald Reagan.  When you do study him as I did, you find that he is the Great
Republican Lie ... the Republican Con Game ... the Republican Sham.  Present-
ing Reagan as the God of the Universe was the result of diverting from Ameri-
can memory the hideous presidency of George Bush II who literally can be de-
fined as a War Criminal, pursuant to one of the six counts of the Nuremberg
Trials, namely War of Aggression.

If Reagan were the god that the Republican Party made him out to be through-
out the 2008 and 2012 elections, the Republicans would have been singing
Reagan's praises before the Bush Years.

When surveying the national debt through the years, the important statistic is
the budget deficit as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product.  That stat was
lowest during FDR's first five years, George Bush II's second, third, and fi-
nal year in office, and Obama's first three years in office.

At this point, the following excerpt is to prove that Reagan most certainly had
wall-to-wall deficit spending.  In fact, all of the years of deficit spending sur-
passed the one hundred billion dollar per year mark, and no other president up
to that time ever surpassed $79 billion in deficit spending.  In conclusion, you
cannot believe anything that the Republicans say about Reagan.  You have been
duly forewarned.

Ronald Reagan, the Great Liar ... not great communicator.

Hundreds of millions of Americans need
more than a Reaganomic trickle.  They all
need the main stream.  The rich never create
jobs.  Only shoppers do ... only an increase
in demand does.

The Communist Sweatshop Dictatorship of
China has proven that it's falsehood to state,
"If you built it, they will come."  The dozens
of newly built Chinese Ghost Cities prove this
to be so.  Reagan is the one who opened trade
with Communist China, claiming that it would
become a capitalist nation.  Communist China
only become more ruthless & irresponsible.
Even though Establishmentarian & Closet Republican Hillary Clinton would have
been far worse as president, at best, Ronald Reagan was a very mean April Fool's
joke.  At worst, his numerical record tells the tale.  The worship of Ronald Reagan
was false-advertising hype, for the new conservative Republican Way.  It was/is a
way where only the rich who need no help are helped all the more.  Meanwhile, the
working poor were left to endure all the more heavily weighted burdens.

Incidentally, keep in mind that Hillary was a Goldwater Girl, she was the loudest
advocate of the economic crime against humanity known as NAFTA, and she did
not believe in due process of law and fair trials, as it applied to Northern African
heads of state whose overthrows literally resulted in anarchy and a slave trade in
that Northern African nation.  In as much, White Anglo-Saxon Protestants such
as Hillary Clinton and George Bush mangle nations when they intervene in them.
The wrongest people have been in power for too long a time.

Keep in mind that the original Republican platform was low military spending.
The Republican party of Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and Gerald Ford was
completely different than that of today.  Today, a Republican is locut eating
up the land.

Contained herein are links to a number of newspaper articles written about Ronald
'S&L Crisis' Reagan during the actual Reagan years.  Those articles are journalism
at point zero range, chronologically speaking.  They constitute journalism complete-
ly free of time distortions and altered historical accounts.  They serve the function
of the evidence that Reagan was neither the great prophet, nor the enlightening sage,
nor the fearless warrior that the right wing world made him out to be ... that he was
NOT Mount Rushmore material, to state it politely.

Reagan caused a lot of harm to Americans who weren't the richest of the rich.  He
caused so much harm to America that the Reagan years consisted in picking up the
pieces of American wreckage, after he signed something into law or set forth an
executive order.

By his life and by his deeds, Reagan taught us one thing:
. . . that the exceptionally stupid lie an exceptional amount of times.

For those of you brainwashed into believing that Ronald 'O-Ring" Reagan was the
greatest man to ever live, the following links will provide you with an eye-opening
and mind-liberating education.  Reagan was a chronic liar during an era when there
was no internet fact checking capability.

The news articles linked from this page are in the Must Read status.  Included are a
few commentaries written around the general time span of Reagan's 100th birthday.
They mostly concentrate on how much of a liar Reagan was.  Those added articles
are also Must Reads.  They'll answer all questions but one:  When did Reagan not
lie?  If you were there, in the Reagan years ... and if you were not a yuppie ... you
would understand.

Under Reagan, in 1985, the U.S. became a net debtor nation for the first time since
1914.

In fact, in 1985, the United States became the largest debtor nation on earth.  Yet,
when Reagan entered office, the U.S. was the largest creditor nation on earth.

In contrast, under Gerald Ford, the United States was the second largest exporting
nation in the world.  Plus, under Gerald Ford, the number of Americans living be-
low the poverty line diminished.  Despite this successful economic state of affairs,
Reagan ran against Ford in 1976, as if there were cause to do so.

Under Reagan, from 1981 to 1983, the number of Americans living below the
poverty line went from 31,822,000 to 35,303,000.  The comfortable Ronald
Reagan was NOT one of them.

The Ronald Reagan propaganda machine made it sound as if the state of the Ameri-
can economy was consistently improving with time.  Well, Reagan entered office in
January of 1981.

1} The worst unemployment rate since the Great Depression emerged.  2} As was
previously mentioned, in 1985 the US turned from top creditor nation to top debtor
nation.  3} What wasn't mentioned yet was that, also in 1985, the first of many S&L
bank failures occurred.  It resulted in a bank holiday being declared in an Ohio where
the deposit-insurance reserve had been drained.  4} Then came the following year,
when the Tax Reform Act of 1986 was signed into law, along with the repeal of a
real estate investor's "passive activity deduction" which turned the Ohio S&L Crisis
into an eventual national phenomenon, in combination with fraud, deregulation, and
Reagan's obsession with decreasing inflation, while not keeping the prime interest rate
down.  5} The piece de resistance of the Reagan Years occurred on October 19, 1987.
That was when the Stock Market Crashed.

This leads us to the ultimate and quintessential question for the Reagan Propaganda
Machine:  What Reagan Recovery?

The Savings & Loan Crisis began on Reagan's watch, and eventually cost the Ameri-
can taxpayer $124 billion.  Now, the S&L Crisis and the Stock Market Crash occurred
late in Reagan's presidency.  Therefore, they were the product of Reagan's configura-
tion of the economy (his sabotage of it.)  Furthermore,  being that they occurred so
late in his presidency, he couldn't blame them on Jimmy Carter.

The commentaries written in the vicinity of Reagan's 100th birthday are also posted
here, after the 1960s, 70s, and 80s articles.  A few articles written at the turn of the
century are also linked here.  The 100th birthday commentaries were published by
the various media entities with the intent to inform the world that the adulation of
Ronald 'Iran/Contra' Reagan was nothing more than lying propaganda, in order
to deceive humanity into making the obscenely wealthy more obscenely wealthy.

Reagan: Hollywood Commando with a 1932 bookkeeper's aptitude.

Humanity needs much more than a trickle of the money supply.
Ronald Reagan was nothing more than a Class B actor and a ticker-tape sports an-
nouncer.  He was neither a scholar nor a decorated combat veteran.  In fact, he only
graduated with a C average in 1932, from Eureka College.  He majored in Sociolo-
gy and Economics, beginning in 1928.  This means that he began his college studies
during the Roaring 20's, when it looked as if prosperity has going to continue into the
1930's.  Then came the Great Depression, when no one was wise enough to know
that it was en route to America.  Thus, Reagan studies during the years when no one
had the answer to the cause of America's worst economic crisis.

Accounting courses during that era was little more than bookkeeping classs, whereas
during the Space Age, ratios, the delineation of costs, formulas, marginal utility curves
comprised accounting.  Incidentally, if you majored in Econ, you were required to pass
a couple accounting courses.  In as much, America and California elected to executive
posts a man who had the economic prowess of a bookkeeper ... literally.

The General Scorecard on Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan is the president who I] tripled the national debt, II] saw the national
unemployment rate rocket to 10.8% after having signed the first of two major income
tax rate decreases for the wealthiest Americans,  III] was granted 18 national debt ceil-
ing increases by the US Congress,  IV] signed into law various types of tax increases,
including an elimination of a major COBRA tax deduction.   V] froze the minimum
wage throughout his entire presidency.
                                                                    &
VI} Reagan caused the creation of the two-income family and the lonely phenomenon
of the latch key kid, due to the financial burden that Reagan let be imposed upon any-
one not counted among the rich.  VII] Plus, he funneled weapons to Iran & Nicaragua,
VIII} set the Savings & Loan Crisis into motion by eliminating a major tax deduction
upon which real estate investors depended,  IX] opened the door to the Maoist sweat-
shop dictatorship in 1986, only for it, to end up owning over a trillion dollars worth of
U.S. Treasury bonds by the Year 2011.

X] In addition, Reagan signed into law the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act
of  1982 —TEFRA—the largest tax increase in the history of the United States, when
combined with 1984 legislation, which was designed  to raise $214.1 billion through-
out a 5 year period, reminiscent, in a way, of one of Stalin's Five Year Plans.

XI] Year prior, Reagan signed into California law (as governor) the largest tax increase
in the history of any American state, up to that  time.  XII] As president, Reagan froze
the minimum wage throughout his entire presidency.
                                                                      &
XIII] Reagan, in the spirit of his generation's racism, vetoed the Comprehensive Anti-
Apartheid ActXIV] In the spirit of Frick, Carnegie, and the union busters of America,
he let the Pittsburgh steel industry go into nonexistence, despite the fact that it was the
Steel Capitol of the World the day Reagan took office.  XV]  Reagan simultaneously in-
creased the size of the federal government, even though he promised to reduce it, in ele-
vating the number of legislative and executive branch federal employees from 2,860,000
in 1981 to 3,113,000 in 1988.  XVI] Under Ronald Reagan, there actually was a decline
in government revenue as a ratio of national income, compared to Jimmy Carter's final
year in office.
                                                                  &
XVII] One of the most poignant hypocrisies of Reagan was that he declined to defend
the right of Christians to not be required to desecrate their time-honored Sabbath with
performing unnecessary work under penalty of being fired or not hired, despite the fact
that Reagan presented to the Christian world as the pope of the "Moral Majority."
                                                                 &
XVIII] In 1985, for the first time since 1914, the United States became a debtor na-
tion.  In fact, it became the top debtor nation in the world, despite the fact that, when
Reagan enter office in 1981, the United States was the top creditor nation on earth.
XIX] Vetoed the Fairness in Broadcasting Act.

http://www.nytimes.com/1985/09/17/business/us-turns-into-debtor-nation.html

http://articles.latimes.com/1986-06-24/news/mn-21190_1_foreign-investments

http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1291&dat=19860319&id=VwtUAAAAIBAJ&sjid=kowDAAAAIBAJ&pg=6642,6797126

XIX] Under Reagan, from 1981 to 1983, the number of Americans living below the
poverty line went from 31,822,000 to 35,303,000.   As Reagan left office, there would
be more people living below the poverty line in America than when he entered office.
However, he was hailed as having taken millions out of poverty, when the fact is that
he was the one who originally lodged them there, after his 1981 income tax cut to the
rich ... and the income tax deduct was to the rich only.

http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0104525.html

XX]  Under Reagan, on October 19, 1987, the Stock Markets in America and else-
where crashed, having lost 22.6% of its value in one day.  It was called Black Mon-
day at the time.  The event was officially identified as the Stock Market Crash, by
the Federal Reserve Board and it is involved both the Dow and the S&P 500 index,
as well as the futures market and options market.

This worldwide historic event proves that the right wing conservative Republicans
lied each time in claiming that there was a recovery under Reagan.  Keep in mind
that there was also a Savings & Loan Crisis which began under Reagan's watch.

Concerning what was called the Reagan Recovery, the University of Virginia's Miller
Center reported how it was dispersed.  The rise in personal income did NOT benefit
Americans equally.  The report was that the income of the rich rose 9%, the income
of the middle class rose only 1%, and the income of African Americans decreased
8% ... so said the Miller Ctr of the Univ of VA.  The Reagan Recovery was merely
the phenomenon of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer.

One study revealed that while annual income for American families grew
by 3.5 percent during Reagan's first term, middle-class families saw only
a 1-percent gain, compared to affluent Americans (those in the top quin-
tile of the income bracket) who saw their incomes rise by 9 percent.

In contrast, American families with incomes in the bottom quintile saw
their average incomes decline by 8 percent; black families and house-
holds headed by women were particularly hard hit by declining incomes.
Finally, child poverty increased to levels exceeding those of the mid-1960s.
Miller Center, Univ of Virginia, Charlottesville.

The list of grievances go on and on, including the fact that 138 members of Reagan's
administration were officially investigated, some of whom were indicted, some of
whom were convicted, included those who were pardoned.  In fact, in having placed
James Watts as the head of the Department of the Interior, Reagan assigned a fox to
guard a chicken coup.

Reagan's Economic Priority

Reagan's economic priority was that of erasing Taxflation.  This is the phenomenon
of inflation eventually resulting in a higher salary, and therefore, a higher income
bracket which erases some of the increased income through tax liability.  It's also
referred to a 'tax creep,' as in creeping up the tax brackets.  Of course, Reagan's
folly was in disregarding tax deductions, tax credits, and tax incentives which
can erase a person's income tax liability in part or whole.

None the less, in order to prevent taxflation, Reagan lobbied Congress to limit the
income tax brackets to two of them ... one at 28% and one at 15%.  The next prior-
ity was that of decreasing inflation which occurred through low interest rates.  The
book-keeping on the inflation rate was changed by changing the computation of the
Consumer Price Index.  This change made the inflation look like it was steadily
dropping at an impressive rate.  The former way of computing the CPI made in-
flation rates look erratic.  The former way counted home rental prices, but not
home mortgaging, being that a mortgage is a fixed contract that doesn't change
every quarter.

None the less, under Reagan, the price of gasoline decreased throughout his entire
presidency, when measuring year-by-year and not month-by-month.   Of course, they
price was previously far to high and OPEC was retaliating against the Ford and Cart-
er administrations, severely.  However, even though the price of gasoline fell during
the Reagan years, the purchasing power of the individual American citizen decreased
during the same Reagan years, thereby causing the same effect as inflation.

Plus, Reagan agreed to items in congressional bills that are considered as
anathema by today's Republican propagandists

This part of Reagan's scorecard is significant in that it shows today's right wing con-
servative Republican mouthpiece to be a complete, and not even partial liar:

To start, in 1975, Democratic senator Russel Long, of Louisiana, succeeded in hav-
ing the Earned Income Tax Credit enacted into law.  In was a law fading away, in
terms of impact.  Then, Reagan agreed to have it expanded in the 1986 tax reform
bill.  Yes, the EITC condemned by the party of greed and sweatshop profiteering
found new life in the Reagan years.

In addition, Reagan signed into law the highest corporate tax increase in American
history.  Corporate tax loopholes were closed to the tune of $300 billion 1980 dollars,
while corporate tax liabilities were raised by $120 billion 1980 dollar, for a five year
period.  Thus, Reagan saw to the lowered of the tax rates of the individual wealthy.
This means that Reagan lowered his own tax rate.  Reagan showed that he didn't
care about America ... only his re-election campaign funds and his own bank ac-
counts.  In attacking inflation as he did, he showed that he merely wanted to make
sure that the money he had sitting in financial accounts wouldn't dwindle in value.

Let's do the Apocalypso

If the aforementioned bibliographical references aren't enough for you, the follow-
ing provides firsthand, close-up, expert assessment of Reaganomics, being that it
was written by Reagan's own budget director, David Stockman.  David spoke of the
Reagan Reformation as the Deformation.  Needless to say, he resigned from the Rea-
gan administration.  His main reason was that Reagan was lying to himself, in insist-
ing to adhere to his unfounded Reaganomic beliefs which were deceptively camou-
flaged behind Milton Friedman's Supply Side doctrine.   Therefore, Mr. Stockman's
2010 New York Times op-ed (opposing editorial) is titled Four Deformations of the
Apocalypse.  The title is a play on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/01/opinion/01stockman.html?ref=opinion

To fill in the empty spaces that an op-ed, in its short length creates, the following is
1988 article is in order, and it's brought to you by the Ludwig von Mises Institute.

This is important to note, because Rand Paul, the eye doctor who is NOT a scholar
in economics is heralded as a follower of the Austrian School of Economics, as if
he found a new and improved way to deal with an economy.  It's that the Austrian
school omits from its books measurements presented as essential elements of stan-
dardized economic science.

The point to mentioning this is that Rand is now presented as a Reaganomics guru
in the name of the Austrian school of economics.  Yet, that school sponsored the
full scale condemnation of Ronald Reagan's legacy.  Rand Paul's propagandists
state that Rand studied Austrian economics.  But where?  He was an eye doctor.
So, where were the Austrian Economics course held?

Anyway, the Ludwig von Mises article about Reagan, written at the end of Reagan's
presidency is titled, The Sad Legacy of Ronald Reagan.

Federal Tax Statistics of 280 Surveyed Corporations ... 20008 - 2010

The statistics of two-hundred and eighty profitable corporations, between 2008 and
2010, were surveyed by Citizens for Tax Justice and the Institute on Taxation  and
Economic Policy.  It's a display of objective numerical facts:

http://www.ctj.org/corporatetaxdodgers/CorporateTaxDodgersReport.pdf

1}  Corporate taxes paid for a quarter of the U.S. federal budget during the 1950's.
They paid for 20% of the federal budget in the 1960s.  By the late 1990's, cor-
porations were only paying for 11% of the federal budget.  Today, corporate
taxes pay for a mere 6% of the federal government's expenses.  This includes
the $729 billion DOD and Homeland Security tax bill, and this shows that the
Republican Party repeatedly lied to the American public, in incessantly claim-
ing that corporations are weighted-down with unbearable and disproportionate
tax burdens.  Right wing radio talk show hosts would logically be included in
        this lie.

2} The average 3-year pre-tax profit for the 280 corporations was $4.832 billion.
The 280 corporations' average effective tax rate for the same period was 18.5%.
For the Years 2009 and 2010, it was 17.3%.  These are much lower rates than
the present statutory tax rate of 35%.  In as much, American corporations bene-
fited from federal tax subsidies as a rule and not as an exception.  Some corpora-
tions even received rebate checks.  Therefore, the Republican Party's incessant
claim that corporations in America are being crushed under an oppressive federal
tax burden is an unconscionable falsehood.

2b} The average effective tax rate of 30 surveyed corporations was MINUS 6.7%,
meaning that 30 corporations made money, simply by filling out tax forms.
The average effective tax rate of 67 other corporations was 0%.  In addition,
111other corporations had an average tax rate of 4.6%.  That's 4 point 6.
Meanwhile, 98 different corporations had an average rate of 24%, and an
additional 71 corporations had an average tax rate of 32.3%.

3} 78 of the corporations surveyed had at least one of the three years where they
paid zero or less income tax.  25 of the corporation had multiple no-tax years.
These 78 corporations had a total of 108 no-tax years, out of a potential 234.
The average 3-yr effective tax rate of the 78 corporations was MINUS 14%.

3b} In the Year 2008, the 22 corporations who paid zero income tax received a
collective total of $3.3 billion in tax rebates.  In 2009, the 49 corporations who
paid zero income tax originally made a collective pre-tax profit of $78.6 billion
and then received a collective $10.8 billion in tax rebates.  In the Year 2010,
the 37 corporations who paid zero income tax ended up receiving $7.8 billion
        in tax rebates.

4} Pepco Holdings, General Electric, PG&E Corp, Boeing, and El Paso each paid
zero taxes for three consecutive years.

 4b} Pepco's pre-tax profit was $882 million and its after-tax profit was $508 million.
This means that it's tax rate was MINUS 57%.  General Electric's pre-tax pro-
fit, for the three-year period, was $10.46 billion.  It received $4.73 billion in re-
bates, meaning that its tax rate was MINUS 45.2%.  PG&E Corp's pre-tax
profit was $4.855 billion.  It then received $1.027 billion in tax rebates.  This
translates into an effective federal tax rate of MINUS 21.2%.

4c} Goldman Sachs' pre-tax profit was $4.909 billion.  It received $786 million in
tax rebates.  Therefore, its three-year tax rate was MINUS 16%.  Dupont's
pre-tax profit was $949 million and it received $109 million.  This constitutes
an effective tax rate was MINUS 11.5%.  International Paper's pre-tax profit
was $217 billion.  It then received $249 billion in tax rebates.  Its effective tax
rate, therefore, was MINUS 114.7%.  Plus, there is Eli Lilly, whose pre-tax
profit was $202 million.  It received a tax rebate of $208 million, thereby re-
sulting in an effective tax rate was MINUS 102.9%.  In contrast, the effective
tax rate of St. Jude Medical was 37.5%.  In fact, it was 46.2% in 2010.  As
an added example of tax rate disparity, Coventry Health Care's effective tax
rate was 40.8%.  Humana's was 39.1%.  However, Marathon Oil's tax rate
was MINUS 40.6% and Exxon/Mobile's was MINUS 38.3%.

4d} Marathon Oil's pre-tax profit was $571 million and it received $232 million in
tax rebates.  Exxon Mobil's pre-tax profit was $2,490 billion for a three year
period and it received $954 million in tax rebates.  In addition, Honeywell's
pre-tax profit was $2.966 billion.  It received $510 million, meaning that its
effective tax rate was MINUS 17.2%.  Yet, Best Buy's was +39.3%.

4e} The truck manufacturer, Paccar, had an effective tax rate of MINUS 72.6%.
State Street Corp's effective federal tax rate was MINUS 121.1%.  Com-
puter Science's effective federal tax rate was MINUS 63.4%.  Omnicare's
        tax rate was MINUS 76.1%.

5} Wells Fargo received $17.960 billion in total tax subsidies.  AT&T received a
total of $14.491 billion.  Verizon Communications received $12.332 billion in
tax breaks.  General Electric received $8.393 billion.  IBM received $8.265
billion and Exxon/Mobil received $4.096 billion.  Walmart received $2.511
billion in tax rebates, while Coca-Cola received $2.461 billion.

6} The effective tax rate for the ten Top Defense Contractors in the Year 2010
was 10.6%, an effective rate much lower than the statutory 35% corporate
        income tax rate.

6b} The effective corporate tax rate for the Retail and Wholesale Industry, for the
past three years, was 30%.  This means that a National Sales Tax would be
detrimental to the United States.  Quite frankly, it would be disastrous.  This
illustrates that Coca-Cola Cain doesn't know what he's talking about.  A per-
son who does know what he's talking about uses formulas to convey his pro-
posed policy. Such a formula will have at least one variable, signified as "x" or
"n."  If the candidate uses the letter "n," it's a sign that his staff consists in those
educated in statistics, able to perform functions known as geometric progres-
ssions.  9-9-9 has ZERO basis in fact or academic conjecture.  It's an adver-
tising jingle, as if it were an attempt to sale Cola and Pizza.

6c} The average tax rate for the Healthcare Industry was 30.4%, for the past three
years.  This is the industry which needs tax breaks which, in turn, need to trans-
        late into lower medical costs.

6d} The effective tax rate for Information Technology Services was only 2.5% for
the past three years, and the effective tax rate of the Telecommunications In-
         dustry was 8.2%.

7} The Financial Industry received $37.4 billion in tax subsidies.  The Utilities,
Gas & Electric Industry received $31.2 billion.  The Oil, Gas & Pipeline In-
dustry received $24.1 billion.  Meanwhile, the Telecommunications Industry
received $30 billion in tax subsidies.

8} The Foreign Tax Rate of 134 of the surveyed corporations was actually 6.1%
HIGHER than those same corporations' effective American tax rate.  In the
case of 87 of the corporations, their effective American tax rates were 15.7%
LOWER than their Foreign Tax Rates.   In as much, the statistical average
proves that the Republican Party lied each time it claimed that corporations
must operate outside of America, because the tax rate in America is too high.

8b} Concerning a corporations' U.S. Tax Rate in relation to its Foreign Tax Rate,
General Electric paid 68.2% LESS in American taxes than in foreign taxes.
Goldman Sachs paid 23.7% LESS.  Mattel paid 42% LESS.  Chevron paid
18.7% LESS.  Eli Lilly paid 30.6% LESS.  IBM paid 23.1% LESS.  Truck
manufacturer, Paccar, had an American tax rate that was 55.3% LESS than
        its foreign tax rate.

9} One reason for such low effective corporate tax rates is the rapid write off of
capital investments.  This is known as accelerated depreciation and this shows
that manufacturing can return to America in an amicable fashion.

10} There is even unfair disparity among corporations in the same industry.  For
example, FedEx paid 0.9% in tax over the past three years, while UPS paid
24%.  This shows that the Republican Party once again lied in claiming that
the American economy is based on "fair competition."

10b} Further examples of inter-industry disparity include the following statistics
Hewlett-Packard paid 3.7% in taxes, while Texas Instruments paid 33.5%.
Monsanto paid an average of 22% in income tax throughout the past three
years, while its competitor, Dupont, had a tax rate of MINUS 3.4%.  Also
in the computer and office equipment industry is the fact that Corning's tax
rate was MINUS 0.2%, while Pintey Bowes' rate was 30.4%.  As an add-
ed instance, Wells Fargo had an effective tax rate of MINUS 1.4%, while
Charles Schwab had an effective tax rate of 30.2%.  Even corporations get
         cheated by corporate greed.
